The Automatic Pig Waterer is a complete drinking unit that supplies water to pigs automatically whenever they push the drinking cup. The unit consists of a metal support rod, a round drinking cup at the bottom and a control head at the top, with a flexible hose connecting the water supply. When the pig presses the cup or the head, water flows into the cup; when the pig moves away, the flow stops. This demand-controlled operation keeps water fresh, saves water and keeps the pen floor dry, which reduces the time staff spend cleaning and helps prevent foot problems. The automatic design also means the farm does not need to check and refill water troughs by hand, saving labour in large operations. The unit is built from stainless steel and corrosion-resistant parts, with a bright finish that is easy to keep clean. Technical Specifications

The waterer is manufactured from 304 stainless steel for the rod and cup, with a cup diameter of 120 mm and a depth of 55 mm. The control head houses a spring-loaded valve that operates at a water pressure of 0.02 to 0.4 MPa and delivers a flow of about 1.5 litres per minute. The overall height of the unit is approximately 450 mm, and the weight is about 2.5 kg. The water inlet is a 1/2 inch female thread, and the mounting bracket fits panels of 20 to 40 mm thickness with M8 bolts supplied. The hose is a flexible food-safe tube of 12 mm diameter. The valve and connections are pressure tested at the factory, and the unit is supplied with the hose fitted and the valve adjusted. Optional models include different head shapes, such as a round head, a hexagonal head and a head with an adjusting knob, so the farm can choose the style that matches its existing system. The brushed finish is uniform, and the complete unit arrives ready to install.

Manufacturing & Quality

Each automatic waterer is assembled in our factory with careful attention to the valve, which is the heart of the unit. The stainless rod and cup are formed and welded with TIG welding, ground smooth and passivated. The control head is machined from corrosion-resistant material and fitted with a precision valve that is tested individually for opening force, flow and sealing. Every unit is pressure tested at the connections, and the complete waterer is inspected for dimensions, surface finish and valve performance before packing. A sample from each batch is durability tested to simulate many months of use, and the hose is checked for material quality. This disciplined production ensures that every waterer works correctly from the day of installation and continues to operate smoothly for years. Because the valve is a common part, spare parts are easy to obtain, and maintenance can be carried out by farm staff without special tools.
