The Multi-Compartment Pig Feeder is a stainless steel feeding trough divided into several separate compartments, designed to give each pig its own eating space in group housing. Technical Specifications

The feeder is manufactured from 304 stainless steel with a body thickness of 1.2 mm. The standard model is 1200 mm long, 650 mm wide and 320 mm high, and it contains six compartments, each 190 mm wide and 300 mm deep. The unit holds approximately 55 litres of dry feed. The feed control plate is adjustable over five positions, so the flow can be matched to pelleted or meal feed and to the size of the animals. Each compartment has a rounded rim and a smooth surface, and the whole unit is brushed and passivated. The feeder weighs about 42 kg and is supplied with floor stands and wall-mounting brackets. Longer versions of 1500 mm and 1800 mm are available with eight and ten compartments respectively, and a galvanised version is offered for outdoor installations. Manufacturing & Quality

The stainless sheet is laser cut and formed on a press brake, then the dividers are welded in position with TIG welding so that every compartment has exactly the same width and depth. Each feeder is inspected for dimensional accuracy, surface finish, weld strength and the correct operation of the feed control, and a sample from every production batch is load tested and checked for stability. The one-piece metal construction has no parts that can come loose, which makes the unit safe for the animals and long-lasting in daily service. The stainless surface does not absorb smells or stains, and the feeder can be washed down with hot water and detergent without damage. Export packing protects the unit in transit, and the customer receives a complete feeder that is ready to install and use immediately.
